16+ years on Bay Area homes.
JT'S Handyman Services has spent more than sixteen years working on houses in Oakland, Alameda, San Leandro, San Pablo, San Francisco, Emeryville, Orinda, Hayward and the rest of the Bay Area.
In that time we've built a reputation on a simple foundation: honest communication and deep respect for our clients' timelines. We treat every project as if it were our own home — which in practice means we care about the parts you'll never see as much as the finish you will.
We don't just transform houses. We work on the spaces where memories get made, and we try to leave them looking like a professional with actual pride in the trade was standing there.

What you can expect on site.
You'll always know where things stand
We tell you when we're on the way and when we're in your home. If a decision needs making or something changes, you hear it from us the same day — not at the end of the week.
Time frames are set before we start
We'd rather quote a realistic schedule and hit it than win the job with a number we can't deliver. Open communication about timing is part of the estimate, not a separate conversation.
The whole job, one team
Because we cover framing, wiring, plumbing, drywall, flooring, tile and paint, a project doesn't stall waiting on a subcontractor's calendar.
03Our approach
Redesign the room around how you live in it.
On remodels, our objective is to get the most out of the space you already have — efficient layouts, quality cabinets, better flooring. We've built a reputation for not simply repairing a room but rethinking it based on how you actually use it and what you need from it.
Outside, the same thinking applies. A deck should be somewhere you cook and sit, not a platform. A yard on a slope becomes usable when the walls and grading are designed first.
And behind all of it: realistic budgets, realistic timelines, and no surprises halfway through.
