A flat wall is invisible. A bad one is the only thing anyone sees in the room.
01Overview
Drywall is the finish nobody notices until it's wrong — a seam that telegraphs under afternoon light, a patch with a halo around it, a ceiling that waves. We treat it as the last chance to make everything behind it look intentional.
That starts at the hang. Boards get precision-cut and mounted tight around windows, outlets and corners so joints need as little mud as possible. Less mud means fewer coats, less sanding and flatter walls.
Then it's tape, mud, sand, and check the work under raking light before it goes to paint.

Patches that disappear
A repair is only finished when you can't find it. We feather wide, match the surrounding texture, and prime the patch so it doesn't flash through the paint.
Clean cuts at the hang
Tight boards mean thin joints. Thin joints mean flat walls. It's the least glamorous part of the job and the part that decides the result.
Dust stays in one room
Sanding drywall can coat a house. We seal the work area and clean as we go.

Assess
We find out what caused the damage first — a leak that's still active will ruin new board too.

Hang or cut in
New board is cut tight to the opening and fastened to framing.

Tape and mud
Tape, then coats of mud, each one feathered wider than the last.

Sand and prime
Sanded flat, checked under raking light, primed and handed off to paint.

Can you match my existing wall texture?
In most cases, yes. Orange peel, knockdown and smooth finishes can all be matched closely enough that a repair reads as part of the original wall once it's primed and painted.
My ceiling is stained from an upstairs leak. Can you just paint it?
Only if the leak is fixed and the board is still sound. If the drywall is soft or sagging it needs to come out — paint over wet or crumbling gypsum comes back within months.
Do you remove popcorn or heavy texture?
Yes. Heavily textured ceilings can be scraped and skimmed flat. Homes built before the 1980s should be tested for asbestos in the texture before any of it is disturbed.
Do you paint after the drywall work?
We can. Plenty of clients have us prime, finish and paint the room so there's one crew responsible for the final surface.
