Paint is the cheapest way to change how a house feels and the fastest way to tell who actually prepped the surface. Bay Area weather — fog, salt air, hard afternoon sun on the west side of the house — finds every shortcut within two seasons.
So we sand, scrape, caulk and prime first. Bare wood gets primed. Failing areas get taken back to a sound edge instead of painted over. Trim gets caulked before it gets cut in, not after.
Inside, the same discipline shows up as crisp lines: clean edges at the ceiling, straight cuts at the trim, and consistent color across every wall in the room.

How long does an exterior repaint take?
A typical single-family home runs about one to two weeks depending on the size, the amount of prep the siding needs, and the weather. Prep is usually the longer half.
Can you paint kitchen cabinets instead of replacing them?
Yes, and on solid cabinet boxes it's one of the best-value projects there is. Doors and frames get degreased, sanded, primed and finished so the surface doesn't stay tacky or chip at the edges.
What about dry rot or damaged siding?
We flag it during the walkthrough. Soft or failing wood gets repaired or replaced before paint — covering it just hides the problem for a season.
Do you handle stain as well as paint?
Yes. Decks, railings, fences and exterior wood can be cleaned, sanded and stained rather than painted when you want to keep the grain visible.
