Interior Remodeling

Kitchens, bathrooms and open living spaces rebuilt around the way you actually use the room.

Finished kitchen remodel with gray shaker cabinets, tile backsplash and stainless appliances

01Overview

Most of the remodels we take on start the same way: a room that works against the people living in it. A galley kitchen with nowhere to stand. A bathroom that was tiled over twice and never waterproofed. A wall between the kitchen and the dining room that nobody has liked since 1978.

We handle the whole thing — layout, demo, framing, the rough plumbing and electrical behind the walls, cabinets, stone counters, tile, flooring, drywall, paint and trim. One crew, one point of contact, and a schedule we tell you the truth about before we start.

Our objective is to get the most out of the square footage you already have. That usually means a better layout, quality cabinets, and finishes that hold up — not a bigger budget.

02Why JT'S for this work

Waterproofing you'll never see

Behind a tiled shower there is either a proper pan, membrane and sealed plumbing, or there is a leak waiting a few years to show up. We build the part you can't inspect as carefully as the part you can.

Realistic time frames

We'd rather tell you a remodel takes six weeks and finish in six weeks than promise three and disappear on week four. Schedules get set before demo day.

One crew, start to finish

The same people who frame and rough in the room hang the drywall and set the trim. Nothing gets lost in the handoff between trades.

03What the process looks like

Interior Remodeling, step by step.

  1. 01

    Walk the space

We look at the room, the plumbing and electrical behind it, and what you want out of it.

  2. 02

    Layout and estimate

You get a plan for the new layout and a written estimate with the scope spelled out.

  3. 03

    Demo and rough-in

Demolition, framing changes, then plumbing and electrical before anything closes up.

  4. 04

    Finishes

Cabinets, stone, tile, flooring, drywall, paint and trim — in that order, cleaned up daily.

05Questions

Remodeling FAQs

Something not covered here? Call (721) 841-9464 and ask.

Can you open up the wall between my kitchen and living room?

Usually, yes. If the wall isn't carrying load we can remove it outright. If it is, we install a structural beam sized for the span so you get the open layout without touching the integrity of the house.

Do you handle the plumbing and electrical inside a remodel?

Yes. Moving a sink, adding circuits for new appliances, relocating a shower valve — that work is part of the remodel, not a separate contractor you have to coordinate.

Can we live in the house during the remodel?

For a single kitchen or bathroom, most clients stay. We seal off the work area, keep the dust contained, and clean up the path in and out of the house at the end of each day.

Do you supply cabinets and countertops or do we?

Either way works. We can source cabinets and stone through our suppliers, or install material you've picked out yourself.
